New ferrets are here

We have three new ferrets that our educators will begin to use for programs in February. They arrived today- rescued from the shelter. Please welcome Abraham, Betsy, and Martha. Each is about 1.5 years old.

Abraham is an albino ferret who weighs just over 2.5 pounds.

 

Betsy is on the left- she’s the brown one. Martha is the cream-colored ferret on the right. She’s our smallest, weighing about 1.75 pounds. (Betsy weighs about 2.25 pounds.
