After 1,100 miles and 35 hours I am back in Durham. I saw license plates from 41 different states (and DC and five Canadian provinces). I had dinner with my best friend from college and my parents. I have a cold. Oh, you don’t really care about any of that, you just want to know about our new wolf.

#1369 was living at the Wolf Conservation Center in New York. I dropped the carrier off on Sunday and they packed him up early this morning. It’s not a great photo, but that’s him curled up in the carrier buried in some hay. He is very shy in general, and seeing that everything is new, he was very skittish when we let him into the side cages of our exhibit.
