Well the pups are back in the primary den. A very blurry picture I took of the video screen showing the pile of pups. I assume, based on last year’s behavior, mom, F2062, moved them back in Saturday night when it got dark.
We came to see the pups on Sunday and were delighted to see that the wolf enclosure was open. We saw mom outside the den and the pups snuggled up inside. It made us wonder: Why is it a concern to have them out of the den?

Glad you got to see the wolves. The front den is much more protect from the elements, so having the pups in there is a nice bonus. It also has a video camera so we can see what’s happening. F2062 and M1803 will take care of their family just fine, but i’d like the little pups to be as protected as possible at the moment.
