Presents for the Animals

And They’re Out…

… on exhibit outdoors for the first time last week: The Toledo Lemurs are outside on grass for the first time. Staff, volunteers, guests, and we assume lemurs too are excited. Puppies at NY Wolf Conservation Center

Our Friends at the Wolf Conservation Center in New York welcomed 7 red wolf pups on Saturday! A big litter from a new pairing recommended at last year’s Red Wolf SSP meeting.   We’re hopeful for pups here too, with our new pair (1784 and 1794). However, if you recall, this is what our female looked like during breeding season any time the male came by. We’d look for pups at the Museum the end of May.    Read more
