Our female red wolf has been in estrous now for over a week. Unfortunately, the keepers have not seen any mating interactions between the male and the female. There seem to be some differences from last year, as well. For instance, the male chased the female around quite a bit last year while she was in estrous. We have the wolf in the side cages- the area to the right when you are looking in the exhibit. You can see what the area looks like in the photo below.
