More eggs

Recently, a friend of the Animal Department donated some eggs to feed our animals. The animals that we usually feed eggs to are the bears,wolves,opossums and recently we gave one to the muskrats. We have eggs!

No, not chicken eggs. We have snake eggs. Our pine snake breeding plan began back in January and on Sunday night the keepers found 10 eggs – 9 look viable. We’ll keep you posted, but we should have babies on July 19!      Read more
