In Memory of J. Pos

Lemurs love watermelon too!

The word of the summer for the Animal Department is Watermelon! Enrichment at home

Enrichment isn’t just something I do at work. At the end of the day I may have several scents on me- snake musk, opossum funk, steer slobber and many many more. So I go home, lay out my clothes and watch my cats- it’s both enriching for me and them.  Read more

Education Holding Room

Back on the Animal Support Hall we have an entire room of animals for education purposes which we call the EHR. The animals in the Education Holding Room are taken out by Museum Educators for special events, birthday parties, even trips to local schools.Read more
