Lots of help means lots of thank yous

It’s the time of year for spring cleaning. It is also the time of year when yard work never ends. We couldn’t tackle any of these projects without the help of others. Just like last Tuesday, we have some people to thank.

Brooke, from our Guest Relations Team, has been working all over the place: prepping diets, scrubbing floors, cleaning indoor spaces, and more. Thanks Brooke!

Brooke is going room by room, shelf by shelf, and cleaning/dusting everything.

Richard, from our Butterfly House Team, has been working with us specifically clearing brush and overgrowth from needed areas. We’re also going to process and freeze some browse (leaves) and have it available in the winter to give to animals.

Thanks Richard!

Terrence, as well as Alex and David, from our Outdoor Landscape Environments Team (OLE), helped out in the bear yard for the first time. The whole OLE group helped immensely with the bear yard. Documentation of Terrence’s first time in the bear yard meant stopping for a photo op with Mimi. (Remember, the bears are locked in the house while we work in the yard)

Mimi checking out Terrence.
Thanks Terrence!

I love the updates! Thank you all for working so hard. We can’t wait to get back to the museum. My boys are 14 and 17 now, but we still enjoy a trip to the museum!
