New Lemur Shelters

I mentioned that our Exhibits Team was building the lemurs new shelters. Two of the three shelters are now up in the lemur yard. KJ, from our Exhibits team, can hang from them. If sturdy enough for him, they are safe for the lemurs to be on (and tortoises to be under).

Check out the new digs:

The lemurs spent the first day looking at the shelter
By the second day, they started to scent mark it
Then, they were just checking out everything!
Good place to snack…
Good place to rest
We place cooling pads on the platforms too.
