I mentioned that our Exhibits Team was building the lemurs new shelters. Two of the three shelters are now up in the lemur yard. KJ, from our Exhibits team, can hang from them. Lemur Exhibit 2.0
With the addition of our new lemurs, the lemur exhibit needed some modifications before they could go out into it. We had to “lemur proof” for young, very active and very mobile lemurs. The structure that was in the yard had weathered and needed replaced. Being one of the ETW keepers, I had many ideas on what I would like the exhibit to look like so I drew up what I wanted and handed it over to our exhibits team.Read more
