Successful Enrichment

Our interns’ owl enrichment project seems to be a success. We (they) haven’t watched all the footage yet, but we got some video of the barred owl engaging with the nesting box that Dakota and Lauren worked on. Another week down

Hope everyone was able to enjoy Easter, as well as Passover Seders. I am sure time with family over the computer was not what anyone had in store for these holidays. In my family, we made a special Covid-19 Passover Haggadah, which was abbreviated, fairly non-traditional, and began with a “Prayer for A Pandemic” As far as life at the Museum… we’re chugging along. Gypsy goat update

I mentioned in the past week that things have been mostly fine. Thank goodness, as it’s hard enough to deal when things are going well. Lightning seems much improved, as you can see in my game of fetch with him. We’ve been treating him for a couple weeks now for an apparent ulcer.
