Memories of Max

maxt This week was filled with loads of tears – so expected when we lose someone we love and care about deeply.

But the week has also been filled with this amazing outpouring of caring and the sharing of “Max stories” as we remember all that Max meant to those who knew him.

I have loads and loads of Max memories. Whether it was my early days  bottle feeding him, or watching him run away from Dr. Cannedy (and then learning not to run away from Dr. Cannedy) or watching him sprint through grounds when guests were not here, or seeing him jump through his yard when we added new stone-dust- the list is endless. I’ll always smile because I know he brought so much joy to so many people and that these memories will always live on.

There are truly too many Max stories to share on the blog, so come by and chat with Keepers (bring tissues). And when you are here, stop by his stall and leave a photo, a drawing,  flowers, or a note.
