With Gratitude

Boxes of gifts seemed to pour in the past few days. (The pile of recycling in my office is hefty). Each time I passed a gift note to the Team to read, another gift would arrive.     I am so thankful for the well wishes… and who doesn’t love opening gifts! Eye exams complete

Dr. Westermeyer, Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists, and member of the NC State Veterinary Medicine team, visited last week to check on some animals. He brought two residents with him, and the team checked out the eyes of several Museum animals. We learned that the critters are stable, with no new issues to address. The past week

I can’t figure out where the time goes. It’s Monday again and last week came and went seemingly before I could blink. Lots got done (I think that’s always the case though). Amazing People

In my job I not only get to spend time with some amazing animals, but also amazing and dedicated people. I often refer to those I spend time with as the “human” and “non-human” animals. First week in October

Since last week, I am happy to report a truckload of stumps have been picked up and are dispersed through most of the Farmyard yards. Some are being cut smaller today so we can use them indoors as well. Besides adding stumps to yards, we got the bear yard mowed, weed-eated, as well as seeded (with an annual rye grass) and aerated.
